STYLING
COLOURS
Lets keep this simple with neutral colours and minimal patterns.
Colour combos we LOVE
-Browns, cream, tan, white
-Olive green, cream
-Earthy oranges, browns and cream
-Denim and whites
These are all timeless and won't age.
And now, let me backflip on everything I just said…
This is YOUR session so it needs to fee like YOU!
if your family are a mismatched, colourful, jeans and tee shirts family-and that’s the vibe you want to go for, that’s what you should wear!
If you’re a pretty fluffy dress kinda mum with kids who’d prefer gumboots and undies- do that!
these pictures need to feel like you! I can give you all the styling advice in the world, but my final goal is for you to be able to look back on these photos in 10, 20, 30 years and remember yourselves- not the Insta perfect family who wore uncomfortable beige outfits and forced smiles…. I think as a society we’re over that… right?

Tips for Kids
-Bring snacks & water
Easy, mess free snacks are a winner
(Please no nuts or nut products, I'm allergic as heckkkk)
-A bit of bribery never hurt anyone!
The promise of a special snack or something fun after the session can turn a frown upside down
-Towel & Change of clothes
If your session is outdoors... chances are kids are going to get messy or wet.
It's just a fact. I always suggest bringing towels for the fam and possibly spare clothes for the drive home. just incase
DURING YOUR SESSION.
Trust The Process.
I don't need your kids to behave perfectly, sit quietly or say cheese.
Instead I want you guys to play.
Dance around, sing your favourite songs, cuddle, follow your kids lead.
I've got plenty of little tricks up my sleeve to capture those special moments.
So just go with it.
When you let go of expectations, being self conscious and just relax, that's when the magic happens.
That's when we get to capture those real moments, those beautiful little moments of love you want to save forever.
Before your session, I always suggest you send through a photo of your outfit/s to me so I can plan accordingly. Also if you need any help choosing outfits, I'm here!
The week of your session you will receive a text with a maps location for our session.
